The right-hand keyboard features three reeds, two of which are housed in the resonance chamber. Seven registers provide a distinctive range of tonal colours.

The instrument has three reeds: two flute reeds and one bassoon reed. The bassoon and one flute are housed in the resonance chamber, while the second flute is positioned outside it, as on a traditional accordion.
