Tethys

The Saltarelle Téthys renews the concept of the two-row accordion by offering a particularly complete instrument in a compact format. With its 21 treble buttons, 8 basses, and three reed voices, it delivers a rich sound while remaining highly manageable.

Its special feature lies in its 5 thumb-operated couplers, placed behind the keyboard so they remain easily accessible while playing. They allow you to benefit from five different sound configurations: one flute voice, two dry or swing-tuned voices (depending on the tuning chosen), three voices in full register, two voices in bandoneon configuration combining the middle voice and the low voice, or the low voice alone. This variety makes it possible to finely adapt the character of the instrument to different repertoires and each musician’s preferences.

Equipped with Tipo A Mano reeds, the Téthys benefits from a high-end design that prioritizes musical quality and responsiveness. On the left hand, a coupler allows the thirds in the chords to be removed, offering greater freedom in accompaniment.

With its particularly compact dimensions and a weight of only 4.1 kg, the Téthys stands out for its excellent balance between compactness and musical possibilities. It is a choice instrument for accordionists who want a wide range of sounds without moving to a larger model.
