The Arabesque is certainly the lightest of all double tone chamber accordions on the market!
Weighing a mere 10 kg with a 39 cm box, it is particularly favoured by accordionists who seek an instrument that combines sound quality, musical options and compactness.
This model is a showcase of Pigini’s splendid feat of musical engineering.

A professional quality, compact and extremely lightweight double cassotto accordion, a true gem!
Accordion with 4 voices and double tone chamber on the right hand.
Right hand:
- 49 notes: G/G range
- 5 rows
- 82 buttons
- 4 voices
- 13 treble switches
- Double tone chamber (medium + low octave reeds)
- 3 chin switches
Left hand:
- 96 basses with 5 voices.
- 5 bass switches
Putting middle reeds in the tone chamber instead of high reeds (which was common practice on double tone chambers from the 1950s) makes it possible to enjoy the low reed’s roundness using a set of middle reeds, leading to a voice that is easier to play and more dynamic than that of the low reed.
This feature is made possible using a type of tuning that produces less tremolo than used in the past, on the fringes of dry tuning. This gives the Arabesque a distinctive style that is particularly suitable for modern types of music and jazz.
Sold with straps and gig-bag (free).
