In this workshop, you will not learn any melodies. Instead, you will sing and work with well-known songs to explore different ways of accompanying them. There will be two main areas of study: harmony (colors, chord functions, and chord enrichment) and rhythm (how to create a precise and suitable rhythmic accompaniment).

Accordionists are often used to playing alone, with the left hand accompanying melodies played by the right hand. But what happens when accompanying a singer or a melodic instrument? Virgile will provide you with keys to help you find your way in this highly enriching practice, allowing you to accompany in the most accurate and musical way possible.
